How It works
Our Scorpion devices are state-of-the-art equipment that actively protects vehicles against unauthorised movement. As a result, upon any unauthorised movement detection ScorpionTrack will discretely notify our international control centre of a possible theft.
Providing speed, direction, ignition state, battery condition and location details to the Police control room in the event of a theft. Accurate to within 10 metres, subject to environmental variables.
1. Vehicle Fitted with Tracker
Your vehicle is fitted with a ScorpionTrack or Datatool Tracking unit
2. GNSS Signal Sent to Satellites
The unit sends GNSS signal to GNSS, GPS, GLOANASS and Galileo Satellite Constellations
3. GNSS Signal Sent to GMS CELLULAR TOWER
The GNSS signal is sent to nearby GMS cellular towers
4. Data Transferred to Secure Cloud Server
The data received by the Satellites and Cellular towers are transferred to a secure cloud server.
5. Customers View this information
The Tracking data is presented and viewed through a secure internet connection on either ScorpionTrack or Datatool.
6. 24/7/365 Monitoring
Our monitoring centre contacts customers in the event of theft or unauthorised movement.
