Scorpion Automotive FZE – a new company has been formed as part of Scorpion’s overseas growth strategy, the aim of this move is to extend Scorpion’s reach into high growth segments within the vehicle telematics and security markets of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

With an initial focus on the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) States, the new company will operate from Dubai. Our Dubai office will serve as a base for Scorpion’s MENA operations, and manned by a local team, will enable the business to be more in touch with local market conditions and provide a better service to customers across the region. The city is recognised as a hub for the entire Middle East region and offers ease of access to other parts of the Middle East”.

A total of 14 vehicle security and telematics products for motorcycles, scooters, cars and HGVs will be launched into 12 countries within the MENA region. The Scorpion MENA team have an already established and ever-growing dealer network in the region to sell, install and provide aftersales support, backed-up by the sales, marketing and technical support of Scorpion’s UK and India based commercial operations,. Consistent with Scorpion’s production policy, the functions of R&D and manufacture of all electronic security and telematics devices will be performed from its UK based state-of-the-art production facility.
